The Japanese subsidiary that provided EVERNOTE, EVERNOTE KK, announced its dissolution in the Official Gazette on 26 April.
The Japanese subsidiary was established in 2010. Initially, Japan had the second largest number of users after the US, and the company focused on expanding into the Japanese market.
The company had established a certain position as a note-taking application, but in recent years has seen it struggle with the rise of various cloud-based note-taking applications and document management tools
